it's interesting because uhhhhh Aries has a very different perspective on suicide than Chuuya does in a lot of ways. because he hasn't seen it first hand and his personal experiences with haruto are honestly all pretty sympathetic. Chuuya took a LONG TIME if he EVER learned that Dazai was scared of things, whereas Aries has basically figured out that Haruto is twitchy and nervous, even if he hasn't grasped the full extent of it.

Haruto very cleanly falls into 'a weaker person I want to protect' category but like. he's not sure how to protect someone from themselves (tho u can bet he's instantly starting to think about it) and he doesn't have aaaaaa idealistic view of life suggests no one should die/suicide isn't legit but he still deffo doesn't really understand it beyond 'yeah i mean i guess I don't have enough self worth to make a strong argument for why life is fundementally better than death if you don't enjoy being alive and you aren't loyal to anything' so it's really just a strong selfish impulse to not lose something important to him.

immmmmmmmm not sure. I have been thinking about it a lot but i don't think he'd like... mind..... CHUUYA has a lot of expectations of people in action and he does expect a certain shared under standing but not so much with 'you must be X type of person'. He expects like an understanding of loyalty but not necessarily loyalty to HIM or something. So his default is pretty low with expectations, and Aries' are even lower because he has noticed and HEARD that like. Haruto and Whisky don't understand or care about team and he's started to wonder if he isn't the weird one. as a result.

So he doesn't have this idea of 'what an unbroken person' is or 'how people should be'. he mostly thinks relationships have very important guidelines and it bothers him when they aren't understood. but it doesn't really bother him if like. you aren't nice or you don't have empathy or whatever. he'd probably find Haruto hating himself troubling but difficult to understand. overall I don't think he'd really judge and he doesn't have really anything to base expectations on other than himself but he already knows he and Haruto are different so...? ? ?

At first he was real annoyed about it, and also weirdly flattered. But after a few years he's chilled out and goes along with it and has fun. I imagine he uhhh... sort of unofficially is a mafia liaison, and thus gets some leeway in how he deals with them. He probably really does seriously try to limit HOW bad Dazai is, but then ther eis the question of how much of that is Dazai setting up a game for Chuuya to win, and Chuuya probably doesn't know the answer to that question tbqh.

But overall fIRST HE WAS OFFENDED but i imagine as Dazai has gotten better, the whole thing has gotten better and he does love him so???

He feels it was profitable and while whisky got a moment of ‘winning’ he considers it pretty negligible over all. It was a feelsbad but everything has a feelsbad side to it so shrug whatever

I assume what happened is that Mori basically sold Chuuya out to someone who genuinely wanted revenge for someone Chuuya killed back when and technically Mori was in no way connected, it was just a personal vendetta which is why Chuuya was tortured but not for information he wouldn't have since he's really just a college student.

So he felt bad because torture was bad bad but it probably took a while to find out it was Mori, i imagine not until after dazai resolved it so it kind of depends on what went on there

i hadn’t really thought about it much but now im just like, after odasaku died and dazai went back to the mafia he probably cut contact with chuuya for a while but then started popping up in his life again and honestly, spent far more time with him than he should have considering. the port mafia’s demon prodigy hanging out with chuuya at college, colluding with the enemy and all and probably he couldn’t keep his mouth shut. he wasn’t the same kind of lovey dovey as he was with odasaku but it’s unlikely he’d be able to not say things like chuuya’s really strong even if he’s stupid and kind of . compliments that honestly it’s only strategically sound tht if chuuya isnt with the mafia and wouldn’t return to the mafia — dazai probably firmly was just like nah chuuya would never come back lol — then he should be removed. and it’s not like dazai didnt know lol so after the torture thing it took him a bit to pull together his resources and then he murdered mori and didn’t at all try to lie about it, it was a clear message that ppl dont fuck with him.

He probably figured out a lot as he got older. Not when they were sixteen, no. but i'm sure he eventually wanted to know where the scars came from and he had a much better context to be like 'no that is wrong???' given the life he ended up in. he probably ended up with a much uhhhhh more 'woke' perspective than i usually play him. WHICH IS STILL NOT. THAT MUCH. but like he is at least pretty solid on 'actually using children to kill people and run criminal organizations is wrong'. which is. more than Mafia!Chuuya really believes.

CSA is also bad but something talked about less and thus he has less of an understanding of it other than' #feelsbadman and he's Chuuya who ended up on the side of the government but also pretty clearly Dazai. like, it was probably very evident early on that he would stop Dazai's crime but he was not going to take Dazai to jail or otherwise seriously harm him. They were never 'really enemies' and Chuuya was probably always quite clear about that in his own way, but it helps that he probably had the same excuse of like, the goverment DOES... allow and support the Port Mafia in the way. So there is a gray area there that is actually important and ullltimately it's okay that Dazai occupies it and BETTER someone like Dazai than someone like Mori.

hE CARES A LOT ABOUT HAURTO and is starting to kind of think of him as his boyfriend, mostly due to how he's now had to talk about haurto to other people like wire and whisky and that starts to necessitate labels he would probably otherwise not think about. he cares about and worries about Haruto a lot but also gets kind of tired of Haruto's obvious flaws like being avoidant and a drunk and generally Aries is really hard to bother BUT he has specific weak points and feeling unappreciated/not valued is definitely one of them. so 'haha i need to drink before i can be with you' is a #feelsbad, but also he thinks Haruto is pretty delicate and as the stronger person it's probably his duty to just suck up a lot of shit and help Haruto out.

It means a lot to him actually that Haruto sincerely wants him to be the leader, he felt at first like it was teasing or making fun of him and then like it was just handing off responsibility to him that didn't even need to exist, because he thinks they are fine without a leader, but the fact that Haruto actually pulled back when Aries started talking about refusing to be the leader made him realize it's actually a thing that has value so he can take it more seriously

Mostly he thinks of future is now as uh... A category that certain types end up in, though it's not a completely established rule set. But basically people who aren't too sentimental and have a lot of potential for putting aside morality, but not out of maliciousness. But Angel only sort of counts and he doesn't really know their... Four new members that well lol

Individually he honestly likes angel, is pretty ok with sho and infinity, and likes intensity in tsundere way that he completely is in denial about. Bell is promising and he hopes he can take her eyes out for science sometime

Just picturing taking Bell's eyeballs literally like "I'm borrowing these now thanks".

In some ways, she sees her unit as her new "court"! It's still a development because so many people are new, and she has to get to know them better ~~by experience death together~~, but they just automatically get that role in her mind! Like there are many people outside of team she loves a lot, probably with more attachment than some of the new teammates tbh (like B more than Magilou just because of the amount of time spent together at this point), but since the FiN unit is "hers" in her brain, it's always most important to prioritize them in any situation where there is no other choice in the matter.

So ya, she kind of has an understand about team vs everyone else, but she doesn't see it as her unit vs people outside so much as "these are mine" vs "those ppl are not mine but I love them very dearly". Rulers, u know. Oh, Except Bark on WC. That one IS hers and WC is just allowed to share.

Oh also, it is also a trust situation though because she is hoping the other teams would do the same thing with their own unit! That's about the extent of how much she cares about units as a whole though lol. Three is mostly hard because he resists developing a cr net deliberately. So in turn he becomes hard to get out in comparison to Aries, who at least has people he cares about around and about all the time. He's also the type to keep his thoughts to himself so he's not easy to jump people with, and he didn't care if he's misunderstood so he doesn't explain himself unless people ask specific things in a specific way. Basically he's a butt I wish he had more work to do that had meaning but sadly. I'm working on it.

Aries uh. Is boring and shallow in a lot of ways, and he also is so team focused he kind of resists cr nets off his team, but he's mostly just not good at basic conversation lol. So unless there is a goal he's not good at taking to people.

oh god it would change everything lol. he'S SO HANDICAPPED FROM BEING HIMSELF BY NOT HAVING UNLIMITED COSMIC POWER. canon is. not well written, but it consistent abou the fact that Chuuya is insanely powerful and utterly unapologetic about using it to protect the people he cares about, he doesn't really give a fuck that they are far weaker than him, personally, because the people he's protecting are normal weak people also in need of protection and he will wipe out dozens of people at a go if that's what he needs to do.

He wouldn't really swap out anyone.... He WOULD want to drag Gold onto Wild City. He'd ask Gold first, of course. Because if Gold really wanted to stay on Avante...he would respect it. Gold being on Wild City would change a lot of things for Silver. Not being able to see Gold during games and know what's happening to him causes him a lot of anxiety during games and honestly makes it hard for him to think at full capacity because he's ALWAYS DISTRACTED. Wild City is hard for him because he is VERY aware how differently he wants to play from everyone else. He cares about and is attached to his team though even if games are always a struggle for him. He cares about everyone even if he has trouble understanding Haruto and Whisky. A part of him would swap himself out...that way people could play how they want to play without him being in the way...but he doesn't really WANT to be on any of the other teams...and then he wouldn't be on Wild City to help protect Wild City. He disagrees with play strategies, but he doesn't have any issues with any of the people on Wild City. And in fact he gets angry when people laugh when he tries to explain that the people on Wild City are good. Uhhh that would be hard, because he isn't good at that kind of loyalty shift and it would be really rough for him. he would probably initially choose based on whose abilities he liked best lol, so Avante would be a strong running even tho he doesn't get along with Cardigan. he might do HSS because he likes Wire, but he doesn't like Hiryuu, and he doesn't know about their abilities. he would probably have to shop around?? because he in the end he would want ot kepe his loyalty to WC and just like. help them from another team lol. it'S REALLY HARD FOR HIM TO SHIFT LOYALTIES so he might just want to join a team that wouldn't expect his loyalty.

Silver...has hormones. However, he actually probably has less hormones than Gold, because he's even MORE hyper focused on volleyball, but has a better awareness of them? Like...he watches Gold interact with B and it makes him want to beat his head against a wall because Gold DOES NOT REALIZE that Gold has a crush on B. That said, Silver is very aware there is an oddly high amount of attractive people in Imeeji. There are plenty of people he looks at and knows they're hot or attractive, but that's easy to ignore by running or stretching or practicing. He works hard to appear likable in Imeeji so people will like him enough to not bus WC, but... He doesn't actually care if other people like him, outside of strategic purposes. And it takes a LOT to get him interested in someone else. For him to have a hormone he'd care about acting on it would definitely take someone interesting him first personality wise because otherwise he just doesn't give enough of a shit. Why waste time fucking when you could spend that time on volleyball practice? Silver is lazy if something doesn't interest him and that includes hormones. He's not a prude or a pure maiden or anything, he's just lazy/doesn't care.

ARIES ADORES SILVER.The smol pure heart of their team, though he actually doesn't care muuuch about Silver's age. He's aware of it in a 'I'm dealing with a highschooler' sense, but he doesn't really think highschoolers are limited by much so that is kind of whatever. he's much more the smol because he's so delicate about murder. which is an ok quality to have.

FIGHTING WITH SILVER FELT BAD AND HE DIDN'T LIKE IT but he is glad they resolved it and has some lingering bad feelings but oh well he'll just deal with it. he worries about the inevitable day when Silver will need to bloody his hands, but he thinks Silver is a capable guy who will come through it okay. He relies on Silver a lot to be someone he can talk to honestly who will... basically understand. feelings. and basic human conversation since Whisky and Haruto are both like /sweats. And so far of their knew kids, only Bark really qualifies as 'normal' in Aries' book.

REVERSE

The adoration is very mutual. Silver respects Aries so much and really truly views him as the only one capable of being leader for Wild City. He appreciates that even though Aries is so strong and strongly opinionated that he's still willing to listen and bend to the rest of the team. The fact that Aries seems to sincerely care too is mind blowing. Much kind, very strong, so cool, our leader is A+++ and Silver will beat the ass of anyone who tries to talk shit about Aries infront of him.

Silver is hyper aware that he's kind of the odd man out on Wild City...but Aries never makes him feel bad about it. Silver knows he's younger, softer, more trusting and not as cut-throat...but Aries still helps make him feel like he's not holding back the team. Which in turn drives Silver to try and be better.

It's funny because Aries has basically the same relationship as Silver's captain back home. Silver doesn't remember Kita yet and even if he did, he wouldn't try to compare them because Kita is Kita and Aries and Aries. But essentially they're both leaders that Silver respects and cares about (which says a lot because lol doesn't care what anyone thinks) who in turn care about Silver enough to call him out on stupid shit he does. In canon, Kita scolds Silver in front of the whole team for not taking proper care of himself by pushing too hard when he's sick and prioritizing volleyball over his self. Annnnd then proceeds to scold the rest of the team for praising Silver for that kind of stupidity.

Aries is a very stable force in Silver's life and he absolutely HATED fighting with him. The game in general was awful because Haruto called him a child which made Aries pulling the leader card feel that much more like he was being scolded. Plus being compared to Haruto instead of being seen as himself was like a punch in the gut. Ultimately that game made him feel like he was being treated like a child which is something he's been fighting very hard against. He wants to be on the same footing as the rest of the team because they ARE all adults.

He hated fighting with Aries and he's internally worried that Aries views him differently now...that it wasn't just their pr with the other teams that was ruined, but also his pr within his own team.

Silver doesn't sincerely care what other people think about him, except for a few people: Gold, Wild City and the tinies. In canon he's been in volleyball programs for gifted players since he was SUPER SMALL. And so he never really cared what people thought about HIM as a person before. So he doesn't really know how to process it now... He's used to being hated even by his own team back home. So caring and things related to it are very much so a learning process for him right now.

He wants to be a little clingy so he can re-stabilize himself and ensure Aries isn't mad at him...but he's not used to being physically affectionate. So he'll probably settle for lots of little touches until he decides Aries ISN'T mad at him. Please prepare for lots of small face, hair, shoulder etc pats.

BASICALLY? ARIES IS THE BEST, SORRY FOR SUCKING BOSS PLEASE DON'T HATE ME I'M WORKING ON IT. Aries' guilty pleasure is Haruto. He knows haruto is bad at a lot of things and doesn't have a lot of strong positives going for him but Aries cares sooooooo much about what haruto thinks and finds being able to support him or get his attention super validating. This is kind of pathetic, though, for a lot of reasons, and he can't really explain it..

Nervous habits, he gets kinda tsundere sometimes if he's anxious, and if he's fussed he'll exercise a lot. He used to be able to okay around with his gravity but he can't now.

Silver might have a crush. He runs in the morning and evenings and then in the afternoon he works out and practices...so he doesn't think too much about it. That is to say, he keeps busy. Pr, working out, people watching, etc. He spends more time thinking about Gold's crush on B because honestly he needs to help those two if they're ever going to get together.

What kind of sleeper is Aries? Does he sleep the whole night through or just naps? Does he actually sleep in his room or just crashes in the dorm living room? Side sleeper or back or front? Does he snore or anything? Early to bed early to rise or burns the candle at both ends? Etc.

He sleeps pretty soundly overall but he is a light sleeper in the sense that like, it's hard to sneak up on him. But he doens't have nightmares and he can get to sleep and wake up pretty regularly and easily. He tends to burn the candles on both ends if he needs to, but he cares a lot about his physical health and so generally tries to get enough sleep and he likes to wake up early to exercise. So if he doesn't have other responsibilities he'll probably like go to bed at 10 and be up at 5 or 5:30 or so. but he can definitely just not sleep for a couple of days he has a lot of energy.
